Entertainment Line-up Announced for the Outback Queensland Masters

The live entertainment line-up has just been released for the inaugural Outback Queensland Masters 2019, from bush comedians and storytellers to opera and Golden Guitar winners, tenors and an international didgeridoo master.

Golf competitors, visitors and spectators alike are set to be entertained by some of Australia’s leading entertainment as they dine under the stars as part of the inaugural Outback Queensland Masters evening entertainment program.

The 2019 Outback Queensland Masters entertainment line-up includes:

Featured performances by award winning poet and storyteller Marco Gliori. This mischievous maverick will be joined by the Australian architects of barefoot hillbilly pop, The Pigs. This will be an unmissable Outback Queensland Masters experience.

An Agricultural Researcher and a Drought Relief Worker, Gary Fogarty, Australia’s most prolific award winning bush poet will take the stage, to be followed by vocal powerhouse Tenori. David Kidd, Craig Atkinson and Andrew Pryor bring their sense of fun and sophistication to Charleville ready to entertain with an evening of familiar tunes audiences will love to hear.

An Australian music icon with an interesting connection to Longreach, the dynamic singer-songwriter and multi-award winning performer Melinda Schneider will share with the audience some of her latest and favourite tunes intertwined with a few notable yarns.

A double-bill of unique Australian storytelling and outback opera.
From one of Australia’s greatest poetry champions Greg North, renowned for his rendition of ‘The Man From Snowy River’ to “Australia’s most beautiful voices”, The 7 Sopranos.

Culminating to the $1M hole-in-one challenge in Mount Isa, comedian Steve Allison will have you in stitches, while Catherine Alcorn with “a voice to die for” will perform her critically acclaimed role channelling The People’s Diva, Bette Midler for the Miss Bette Outback QLD Masters Special.

Australia’s leading Didgeridoo master William Barton will perform a range of his original and spine-tingling works. Born in Mount Isa, William is one of the great virtuosos in the world and has played with the Philharmonic Orchestras in London and Berlin.

Australia’s best-known, best-loved bush band The Bushwackers wielding fiddles, accordions, mandolins, guitars, bass and drums will have  everyone up and dancing to close the inaugural Outback Queensland Masters in true heel to toe Australian style.
